Video links you submit

When you paste a link into the downloader, it's sent to our server to check for available formats and, if you choose to download, to retrieve the file. We do not permanently store submitted links or the resulting file metadata; they exist only for the duration of processing your request. We keep a short-lived, in-memory record of request counts per IP address solely to apply rate limits, which is not retained long-term.

Server logs

Like most web services, our infrastructure may generate standard server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested path) for security and reliability purposes. We do not log the full content of submitted video URLs in a way that's tied to an individual beyond what's operationally necessary for abuse prevention.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently run analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the specific tools used (for example, Google Analytics) and what data they collect, before those tools go live.

Third-party platforms

To process a download request, our server retrieves data directly from the platform the video is hosted on. That platform's own privacy practices apply to that request. We don't share the links you submit with any other third party.

Your rights
